Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has not cut off his family completely.
Amid reports that the photographer and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham have gone no-contact with his parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham as well as siblings Romeo Beckham, 22, Cruz Beckham, 20, and Harper Beckham, 13, a source close to the 26-year-old denied the rumor.
“This seems to be another deliberate attempt to misrepresent the truth,” the insider told E! News, “and it only serves to distract from this honor being bestowed on Brooklyn’s father.”
Indeed, Brooklyn’s dad David is set to be presented with a knighthood by King Charles III June 14 in honor of the king’s birthday celebration, also known as Trooping of the Colour. The title recognizes the soccer player’s career in his sport, as well as his contributions to British society as a whole.
E! News reached out to reps for David regarding the source’s claims.
However, David’s honor comes at an otherwise turbulent time for the Beckham family. Earlier this month, Brooklyn and his wife Nicola hired a lawyer to “combat the spread of misinformation,” as speculation about where they stand with his family intensified after they skipped out on David’s 50th birthday celebration May 2.
