A calmer Kristin then revealed the surprising text she received from Johnny after the show.
“‘You were amazing last night,'” she read to Justin. “‘Thanks for such a fun escape from reality, definitely needed that. You’re gonna absolutely crush the rest of your tour. No doubt about it.'”
And after her former Laguna Beach costar and former boyfriend Talan Torriero pulled a similar stunt during another live show, Kristin was done with the men of her past.
“I actually don’t even care about looking like an idiot in front of the audience,” she admitted to Justin. “This is a much bigger thing for me. It’s the theme of my whole life. With Talan, it’s like, ‘Okay, it’s expected.’ Then Johnny, it was like, ‘Oh my god!’ Like, no guy has ever taken accountability in my life, ever.”
Now, Kristin no longer entertains that type of behavior from men.
“I’ve allowed these men into my life and I can see it a mile away now,” she reflected. “It’s a nice reminder of how far I’ve come.”
