Promising review: “We used to have a really dinky Black + Decker battery-powered mower. As you can imagine, that thing had no torque. If the grass was an inch too tall, you were SOL. It also hurt my husband’s back to use because it was not self-propelled, and the tallest setting was still much too short for his 6’4 stature. This mower is incredible. I mow the yard multiple times on one charge. The propulsion is top-notch. The fastest speed is actually very fast. I haven’t had the blades stop over tall grass even once, so it’s torquey as heck too. It has headlights in case you have a hankering for mowing at 11 p.m. (much to the chagrin of your neighbors. Don’t do this, but at least you have the option with this mower).
