I sprayed myself with Off four times throughout those hours because I kept feeling them bite me. My kids were unscathed. I believe my oldest walked away with only one bite on his back, which would’ve been under his shirt, where I did not spray. A week later, my husband and I spent some time outside in the evening on our hammock. He used Off, and I used this. He had several bites while I had one or two new ones. I think that says it all.
