Alex Warren has reclaimed the top spot on the U.K. Singles Chart from Sabrina Carpenter on Friday June 20. The latter debuted at No. 1 with “Manchild” last week, disrupting Warren’s lengthy stay at the summit.

His “Ordinary” is back at the top spot to give him his 13th week at No. 1; his consecutive 12-week streak gave him the record for the U.S. solo artist with longest running No. 1 single in U.K. chart history, surpassing previous holder Slim Whitman from 1955.

At 13 weeks, “Ordinary” extends its streak as the longest running No. 1 in the 2020s so far, and pulls him ever-closer to Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” and Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” in the all-time rankings (14 weeks).

Carpenter’s “Manchild” slips just one place this week to No. 2; the single was her third No. 1 in the U.K. after “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.” On the Official Albums Chart, Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet is now the solo studio album with the longest consecutive top five streak in the chart’s history (43 weeks) as it closes the week No. 3.

Ravyn Lenae’s “Love Me Not” and Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club” are non-movers at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. Michigan-born MK’s original material has hit a new high on the U.K. Singles Chart with his Chrystal collaboration “Dior,” which is up 12 places to No. 5. He previously hit the No. 1 spot in 2013 with a remix of Storm Queen’s “Look Right Through.”

Olivia Dean’s “Nice to Each Other” continues to rise and hits No. 16 in this week’s chart, while Lola Young’s “One Thing” ends the week at No. 18. On Wednesday, Young announced the release of her forthcoming album I’m Only F-king Myself, due to drop on Sept. 19.
