For comparison, I also ordered a pair of Vionic sandals in a 5 wide that fit me perfectly and felt great, but looked more ‘orthopedic’ than I liked. These sandals support my feet better than I expected. There’s not much arch support, but there’s support in the heel area, and I’ve walked in them for several hours with no blisters or sore feet, so I plan to take them with me on a trip to Greece, where I expect to do a lot of walking. They’re really cute with shorts, palazzo pants, and summer skirts, and the price is very reasonable.” —LH
