RITZ’s maker is asking people to put the famed cracker down. Mondelez Global LLC, which owns the cracker brand, announced a voluntary recall of four carton sizes of RITZ cracker sandwiches July 8 over a labeling error that could be life-threatening for some. The recall, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, includes 8-pack, 20-pack and 40-pack cartons of RITZ Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches, well as the 20-pack RITZ Filled Cracker Sandwich Variety Pack carton.
