Harris, the showrunner for Amazon’s Prime Video series The Wilds, is grabbing the reins for the platform’s Every Summer After adaptation, titled Every Year After, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Harris, who has an overall deal at Amazon MGM Studios, will take over for Leila Gerstein as Every Year After showrunner; Gerstein has exited over “creative differences,” a person with knowledge of the situation said.
