Ride-hailing platform Namma Yatri on Wednesday launched the Namma Driver Welfare Trust (NDWT)—an initiative that will focus on helping the long-term financial and social security of Karnataka’s driver community. The trust will be funded through a fixed contribution of 2% of Namma Yatri’s revenue and will be a legally registered and independently governed entity.
