The cool thing about birth order is that there are so many variables that can change your traits. Although there are stereotypes in birth placement, there are combinations that create exceptions…all the time. For example, certain variables can give “non-firstborns” the traits of firstborns — such as:
-The child who follows a 5-year (or more) age gap
-The child who follows the death of a child
-The first new gender amongst siblings
-The child who follows a sibling with high needs
