As if Clueless wasn’t going big for its 30th anniversary. The iconic Paramount Pictures film’s beloved BFFs are getting dolled up in a slew of new toy collaborations with Mattel.
The El Segundo-based toy company has debuted Barbie Signature collectible dolls and American Girl outfits inspired by Cher Horowitz (played by Alicia Silverstone) and Dionne Davenport (Stacey Dash), while Tai Frasier (Brittany Murphy) rounds out the trio in a Polly Pocket playset and a Fisher-Price Little People figurines set. The Cher and Dionne Barbies are available for preorder ahead of their fall release (Sept. 15 at Target, Oct. 1 at Amazon), while the other playful collectibles and doll accessories are shoppable online and in select stores now.
American Girl’s Collector Series outfits transform 18-inch dolls (sold separately) into total Betties with Cher and Dionne’s first day looks. Priced at $80 each, the eight-piece sets include their signature plaid jackets and pleated skirts, shoes, socks, accessories (a fuzzy mini backpack for Cher, the rose and ribbon hat for Dionne) and — duh! — their very own cellphones. The outfits come in exclusive packaging and are part of a limited run of 7,000 per look.

Designed for ages 6 and up, the Barbie Signature dolls also feature the characters’ yellow and black-and-white plaid ensembles. Cher comes with her fuzzy backpack, cell phone and her learner’s permit, while Dionne‘s statement topper completes her look.

Inspired by Jane Austen’s novel Emma, Clueless was written and directed by Amy Heckerling and earned $56.7 million worldwide following its July 1995 release. In addition to Silverstone, Dash and Murphy (who died in 2009), the film also starred Paul Rudd, Elise Donovan, Donald Faison, Breckin Meyer and others. The film is available to stream on Paramount+ (currently offering a deal for new subscribers) or to buy on sale at Prime Video.
The Mattel product launches come after Clueless announced a movie-inspired suite at L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, which will be available to book from July 12 to Sept. 1 for $1,995 per night (with a two-night minimum). A Cher’mitage Experience will also be offered at $995 per night.

The ultimate ’90s throwback, Polly Pocket’s heart-shaped Clueless playset opens to reveal Cher’s Beverly Hills mansion, including the iconic staircase, her room and her stylish smart closet. The compact includes minifigures of Cher (and her white Jeep), Dionne and Amber and tiny cellphones for each. There’s even a plant that’s ready to fall victim to Cher’s virgin driving skills, just like in the movie.
Roll with the most adorable homies with Fisher-Price Little People’s charming collector set. It features a window box and playful figures of Cher, Dionne and Tai (who clutches a copy of Jane Austen’s Emma, which inspired the Amy Heckerling film.)
