But some of the most crucial work takes place even before they slip into their custom Lucchese cowboy boots.
Achieving the desired higher-the-hair-closer-to-God strands means going through “many cans of hairspray,” joked Madeline and perfecting their teasing technique.
Added Kelee, “Sometimes if you flip your hair over, brush it, spray it, that will help with the volume for sure.”
And they’re always careful to keep their ringlets as tight and precise as their choreography.
For Megan, that means “not brushing it out at all,” she shared, “because we do so many hair flips, it automatically falls down.”
