One Piece actor Daniel Lasker has signed with Innovative Artists for representation.
Lasker is recurring as Mr. 9, one of the villains in the Baroque Works criminal organization in season two of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the expansive manga and anime series.
Lasker also stars in the upcoming indie feature London Calling as Barnabus, where he will appear opposite Josh Duhamel and Aidan Gillen in director Allan Ungar’s action comedy about a hitman forced to babysit the son of his new crime boss and teach him how to become a man.
Lasker’s credits include the Ridley Scott–produced HBO Max series Raised by Wolves, and roles in Noughts + Crosses for BBC One, Vagrant Queen for Syfy and Abraham Lincoln on the History Channel.
Besides acting, Lasker has also branched out as a director and content creator. He directed, co-wrote and starred in the 2023 horror thriller Hidden Within, his feature directorial debut, which also starred Tuks Tad Lungu and Roxanne Prentice.
The thriller centered on a young woman returning home to Zimbabwe to visit her ill father, only to face a string of local disappearances that reveal a frightening secret he has been hiding. Lasker’s short film output includes The Signal, The Man, Red Maraiah, The Walk and The Way It Is.
Lasker is also managed by Robert Stein Management. Bringing Lasker on board for representation follows Innovative Artists Entertainment signing Shanola Hampton, Melissa Joan Hart, Mel Rodriguez, Ayanna Floyd and Josh MacQueen.
