Fantasy sports platform Dream11 has entered the real money gaming (RMG) segment with Dream Play, months after the company reverse flipped to India.
Moneycontrol was the first to report on this matter.
The app, which is available for download on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, currently offers a single game, Carrom Clash. However, the company listed that it will soon roll out a pocket billiards game, Pool Classic.
According to the app, the platform allows users to compete in multiplayer carrom games, which are divided into Classic or Freestyle modes. The app also gives players options to participate in Mega Contexts with larger prize pools of up to Rs 50,000.
Dream11 did not comment on YourStory’s request for comment on this development.

Dream11’s entry into the RMG segment comes at a time when gaming companies across the country are being weighed down by hefty goods and services tax (GST). Many online gaming companies, including Paytm’s subsidiary First Games, as well as Games 24×7 and even Dream11.
Earlier this year, the Supreme Court stayed show cause notices on retrospective tax notices received by online gaming companies of up to Rs 1,12,000 crore, according to reports.
The Mumbai-based company’s entry into the RMG segment means the firm will now compete with WinZO, Gameskraft, Zupee, and MPL.
