    Fresh off legally changing his name to Rob Mac, creator and showrunner Rob McElhenney is set on the season 17 premiere of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia on Wednesday, July 9. Additionally, the first episode of the new season is a crossover episode with another Philadelphia-set comedy, Abbott Elementary.
