On Friday, June 20, 1975, Jaws first opened in theaters. Marking exactly 50 years since its premiere, on Friday, June 20, 2025, NBC is hosting a celebratory 50th anniversary telecast. The three-hour special includes a screening of the film with an introduction from Spielberg himself.
The anniversary special airs on NBC at 8 p.m. PT/ET, meaning cord-cutters can watch on any live TV streaming service that carries the channel, including Fubo, DirecTV, Hulu + Live TV and Sling. Since select streamers are offering free trials, new subscribers can watch the telecast at no cost.
