The India’s Healthy Snacking Summit (IHSS) is set to return for its second edition on July 18, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The event aims to bring together over 1,500 stakeholders from the food and beverage ecosystem, including more than 50 speakers, 300 startups, investors, policymakers, and retail buyers to focus on innovation, scale, and collaboration in India’s healthy snacking segment.
Positioned as the country’s only dedicated summit focused entirely on nutritious and functional snacking, IHSS is designed to address key industry gaps, including limited R&D, fragmented supply chains, and the need for consumer education around health-oriented products.
The summit is being organised by Farmley, a leading clean-label snacking brand, with support from other ecosystem partners. Speaking about the growth of the platform, Akash Sharma, Founder and CEO of Farmley, said the initiative began as a small but focused gathering. “We saw a gap—people were interested in healthier options, but awareness and industry coordination were missing. This year, we’re scaling up significantly, both in terms of attendance and scope.”
IHSS 2025 will be held in Audi 2 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, with programming scheduled to begin at 3 PM.
The 2025 edition of IHSS will feature a wide-ranging agenda, including:
- Product showcases and launches by emerging and established brands
- Speed-pitching sessions with retail buyers and distributors
- Masterclasses on export readiness, compliance, and digital marketing
- Innovation awards for best new products and packaging
- Live consumer feedback zones on taste, pricing, and design
- A dedicated policy suggestion box for government stakeholders
Confirmed speakers include industry leaders such as Amitesh Jha (CEO, Swiggy Instamart), Revant Himatsingka (FoodPharmer), and investor Arjun Vaidya, among others.
Sharma added that the summit is also intended to provide a platform for startups from across the country including Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities to connect with investors, talent, and partners. “Our long-term vision is to make IHSS a global platform for healthy food innovation originating from India,” he said.
The summit comes at a time when the healthy snacking sector is witnessing strong momentum, driven by rising health consciousness, urban demand for convenience, and increased willingness to spend on better-for-you products. According to industry estimates, the functional and clean-label snacking category is among the fastest-growing within India’s consumer packaged goods space.
