MobiKwik has named Saurabh Dwivedi as its chief technology officer as it looks to accelerate product innovation and scale its technology infrastructure with a renewed push into AI-led fintech.
Dwivedi joined MobiKwik in August 2023 as Senior Vice President – Engineering for the Payments division and has since played a critical role in building high-performing engineering teams and enhancing platform scalability. He will now lead engineering across four divisions—Payments, Financial Services, Core Platform, and Infrastructure & InfoSec.
“Since joining MobiKwik, Saurabh has demonstrated remarkable leadership in inspiring our engineering team to set high standards for our core product as well as driving innovation through new ideas,” remarked Bipin Preet Singh, Co-founder, MD and CEO, MobiKwik, in a statement.
“As we scale new heights, it’s vital we have strong leaders at the helm of both technology and distribution. Both Saurabh and Dhruv have demonstrated the acumen to serve our users with excellence, build with foresight and lead with integrity. I’m excited to see them shape the next chapter of MobiKwik’s growth story,” he added.
The company said Dwivedi will be central to advancing MobiKwik’s AI initiatives across product development, collections, and customer engagement. “My focus will be on building a unified yet flexible infrastructure that serves diverse businesses at different stages of maturity, while maintaining reliability and innovation for our users,” said Dwivedi.

He holds a BTech in Computer Science degree from GGSIP University and completed an advanced business analytics programme at IIT Mumbai.
The company has also elevated Dhruv Wadhera to Senior Vice President, Offline Payments. Wadhera, who joined MobiKwik in June 2023, has led the company’s offline expansion across Tier II and Tier III cities.
“This promotion energises me to accelerate our mission of bringing accessible payment and financial solutions to every small business, from small towns to remote villages,” said Wadhera. “We are only beginning to realise the potential impact we can have in democratising digital finance for every Indian.”
