Snowflake has rolled out set of artificial intelligence and data infrastructure solutions at its annual flagship Snowflake Summit 2025 conference, as it attempts to capture the growing enterprise demand for AI-driven data analytics capabilities.
In order to help enterprises manage and analyse their data, the AI cloud-based data firm announced multiple features spanning data engineering, compute optimisation, analytics, and agentic AI technologies.
The latest offerings are aimed at breaking down data silos and turning enterprise data into insights, while maintaining governance and control, the company said in a statement.
“With our latest announcements, we’re showcasing how Snowflake is fundamentally redefining what organizations can expect from a modern data platform,” said Vijayant Rai, Managing Director- India, .
“These innovations are focused on helping businesses make AI and machine learning workflows more easy, connected, and trusted for users of all abilities by democratising access to data and eliminating the technical overhead that slows down business decision-making,” he added.
One of the company’s key offerings is Snowflake OpenFlow, which is the company’s new multi-model data ingestion engine, enabling users to connect across any data sources and formats. The platform aims to streamline data integration processes while reducing manual labour to assist customers in deploying AI applications.
The US-based firm on Tuesday also introduced Snowflake Intelligence, a new capability that allows both technical and non-technical users to ask natural language questions and quickly extract insights from structured data and unstructured documents.
The latest feature is built on top of advanced large language models from Anthropic and OpenAI, and runs securely within Snowflake’s environment by utilising Cortex Agents, the company’s agentic solution which was launched in February.

The company’s newly launched Data Science Agent, built on Anthropic’s Claude, targets boosting productivity for data science teams by automating routine machine learning development lifecycle including data analysis, preparation, feature engineering, and model training workflows.
Currently, more than 5,200 customers use Cortex AI services, including names such as BlackRock, Luminate, and Penske Logistics.
The firm has announced several enhancements to its Cortex AI suite, including SnowConvert AI, an agentic automation tool designed to accelerate legacy system migrations to Snowflake’s platform.
Snowflake launched new agentic AI products on its marketplace to accelerate enterprise adoption. Cortex Knowledge Extensions lets enterprises integrate proprietary unstructured data from third-party providers while protecting IP and ensuring attribution.
It added that users can access business content from The Associated Press to enhance AI system results. Snowflake also introduced Semantic Models, enabling easy integration of AI-ready structured data from internal teams and third-party providers.
The company has doubled down on next generation of compute tools to boost performance and efficiency, which includes Standard Warehouse Gen2, which offers up to 2.1x faster analytics than earlier versions.
