Dr. Heather Collins will not be clocking in for another shift at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical emergency room.
Tracy Ifeachor, who played the senior medical resident on season one of HBO Max’s The Pitt, will be departing ahead of season two, which is currently in production, multiple outlets have confirmed.
E! News has reached out to reps for comment but has not yet heard back.
Tracy previously hinted her time on the Noah Wyle-fronted series had come to an end while sharing highlights from the experience.
“What a blessing to be a part of this first and foundational season of #ThePitt on @hbomax,” she wrote on Instagram July 10. “It was an absolute privilege to play Dr. Heather Collins in such a groundbreaking season and piece.”
The British actress added, “Thank you to everyone who has watched & supported Season 1 & shared their stories with me.”
She also shared a video made up of a series of photos and clips from her experience on “The Pitt – Season One,” on which she also wrote, “Breaking All The Records!”
