The Vampire Diaries’ Candice King and The Originals’ Steven Krueger Are Engaged
It’s a match made in vampire heaven.
Candice King and Steven Krueger, who costarred on The Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals‘ fifth and final season, are engaged.
“A couple of weeks ago @stevenakrueger gave me the best gift of all when he asked me to marry him,” the actress wrote on Instagram May 14. “Thank you for asking me to dance through life with you.”
Candice (formerly known as Candice Accola) also shared photos from the couple’s engagement shoot, which showed her in a white dress and a square-shaped diamond engagement ring as she and Steven, 35, enjoyed cocktails at their “fave” bar Martha My Dear in Nashville.
Reflecting on her 38th birthday on May 13, Candice wrote that this “just might be my favorite year yet.”
As she put it, “The privilege of getting older is much sweeter knowing I get to share it with you Steven.”
Needless to say, Candice’s former castmates were thrilled.
