Meghan Markle wants to live in her truth.

The Duchess of Sussex reflected on how much has changed in her life since she was a working actress on Suits, which came years before her relationship with Prince Harry.

In a preview clip for her June 17 appearance on the Aspire With Emma Grede podcast published by Vanity Fair, after Emma Grede points out to Meghan that the public narrative around her is “very different” now than it was before she started dating the Duke of Sussex, the With Love, Meghan star agrees.

“It is, Emma!” she said with a big smile. “It is very different.”

When the Good American CEO asks if Meghan if there is anything she would do differently if she “could rewrite” her public narrative “from scratch,” the 43-year-old doesn’t hesitate to answer.

“Yes,” she says. “I would ask people to tell the truth.”

The rest of the episode promises to feature Meghan—who shares Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, with Harry—speaking to the origins of her brand As Ever and her signature raspberry preserves, as well as “the challenges of founding a start-up company when your changes in strategy make headlines,” per Vanity Fair.
