Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi may have met in the most Gen Z of ways, but their courtship quickly took a turn for the old-fashioned.
After connecting on Instagram in 2021, “we were friends for a bit,” Millie shared in a November 2022 Wired interview. “And then, what can I say?”
Well, now their fans know that DMing led to FaceTiming, which led to finally meeting in person, with Jake extending the ancient chivalrous gesture of picking the Stranger Things star up from the airport.
“bff <3,” Jake captioned a June 3, 2021, photo of the pair, quite possibly having just left an arrival terminal.
And now they’ve been married for a year, share a farm in Georgia and are looking to truly nest.
“I started rescuing farm animals,” The Electric State actress said on the SmartLess podcast March 10. “I would basically take these animals and then I bottle fed them. The goats the sleep in our bed and wear diapers. They are basically babies, and I would sleep with them and Jake, and they would sleep in the middle, and Jake would get up and do a shift and then I would do a shift.”
Which is good practice for the large family they’ve been planning.
