Nicola Peltz Beckham Allegedly “Left the Room Crying” at Wedding Over Victoria Beckham

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham are preparing for all possibilities.

The couple—whose feud with Brooklyn’s family, including parents Victoria Beckham and David Beckham, has been the source of ongoing speculation—hired British lawyer Jenny Afi of Schillings law firm, E! News understands.

But despite reports to the contrary, a source with knowledge confirmed to E! News, “It’s not for reputation management, but to set the record straight, combat spread of misinformation.”

Additionally, while the same lawyer hired by Brooklyn and Nicola was previously used by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, it’s simply a coincidence. “There is absolutely no connection to Meghan and Harry,” the insider confirmed. “Schillings is a respected firm with a wide range of clients.”

“Ironically,” the source added, “the inaccurate reporting proves exactly why one hires legal counsel, to set the record straight and combat the spread of deliberate misinformation.”

E! News has reached out to reps for all parties for comment.
